Important History of Singapore
Singapore on Dipity.
Singapore is a country with a large amount of history. Singapore started as a small place that had an abundant amount of fishing. Singapore is in a great place for trade, and with only a small amount of natural resources they took advantage of this by setting up a trade center in Singapore. Singapore has been under British law, but after World Was Two it fell under Japanese rule. As the population grew Singapore has become its own country like it is today with a huge amount of culture. Singapore continues to rely on trade with other countries and has had a rapid growth in the population.
